Best Tips for Office Wear
As many of you know, I have a job working as the VP of Marketing for my family’s business so I am always in and out of the office. For those of you that work in offices and regularly wear business attire, I have put together three key essentials to keep in mind when it comes to office wear.
Make sure your skirts/dresses are an appropriate length
Finger tip length is always a good rule of thumb to use when determining whether a skirt is long enough to wear to the office. It is essential to wear attire that is classy, and skirt or dress length play an important role when it comes to classiness.
Wear different prints
You can get really creative with office wear because there are so many options for different colored blazers, blouses, pants, skirts, and dresses. Flashy colors like highlighter yellow, or anything neon are not good choices for the office, but wearing prints like the gingham skirt I’m wearing in this photo, stripes, and polka dots are all great for office pieces.
Wear shoes that complement your outfit
An outfit is not complete without the right pair of shoes. Pairing a printed skirt and simple top with a pair of heels is a great option. Booties and boots paired with sweater dresses and stockings this fall season are also a must. Wearing shorter thin heels are a better alternative over chunky, high heels that may look too much like you are going out instead of going to work.
