Wilson's 3 Day Food and Fitness Journal

This week's blog post is something you guys seem to ask me about a lot! As you all know, fitness and healthy food are a true part of my lifestyle, as I try to eat lean, clean and green all the time! Whenever I post about something I eat I get tons of DMs about where it’s from, which is why in this post I’m linking the exact products I use to help you guys out. I get asked a lot about how much water I drink and how active I am as well, so without further ado welcome to my 3 day food and fitness journal!

Day 1: sunday

morning

I like to sleep in on Sundays. Today I didn’t wake up until 9:30 which was such a gift. Sundays are the one day of the week I really give myself time to rest and get ready for the upcoming week ahead.

After I woke up I immediately brushed my teeth and washed my face. Shortly after, I made a hot water with lemon, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 15 chlorophyll drops and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar for inflammation and to get my digestive system going. 30 minutes later I had a matcha latte that I can't go a morning without. I use homemade almond milk, hot water, cinnamon, vanilla and matcha powder and pour it over ice.

You can’t have Sundays without pancakes! So after our 4 mile walk around our neighborhood with our dogs, I made birch benders paleo pancakes with blueberries, which are really easy to make. All you have to do is add water. I top them off with KNOW Foods maple-flavored syrup for an extra touch. 

Afternoon

After showering and getting dressed, my fiancé and I met his mom for lunch at a vegan restaurant in town called Panacea. I decided to go with the kale salad and buffalo cauliflower (and a couple bites of Chad's vegan Osaka burger - yum!) Right after, we relaxed at home for a couple hours and I had a piece of gluten free Almond bread with sun butter and raspberries for a snack.

My book decided to cook ramen with kelp noodles, egg and lots of veggies for dinner, which was delicious and I had to go for an amazing gluten free cupcake for dessert. 

 

Day 2: monday

Morning

Mondays are my time to rise and grind! I woke up at 6 am with the help of my hot water with lemon, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, and chlorophyll like I mentioned above. The dogs and I got our walk in for 45 minutes around my neighborhood, again with my matcha latte! I love putting all the ingredients in my Vitamix to ensure the powder is blended and today I added the Moringa powder as well for its energy boost, cleansing properties and digestion benefits.

Breakfast consisted of a big bowl of Purely Elizabeth blueberry granola with homemade almond milk and added blueberries. From there I headed to an hour of Pilates at Core the Pilates studio, which I love because it’s low impact but I'm definitely seeing my body more toned because of the workouts. I showered and got dressed there and went straight down to the Cure for the Kids clinic where I volunteer.

afternoon

I had really worked up an appetite so I got up to my office around 12:30 and ate my chopped salad that I made with my OXO bowl. The salad had lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, roasted brussel sprouts, roasted carrots and roasted broccoli, almond cheddar cheese, black olives, artichoke hearts and quinoa, topped off with a vegan ranch dressing and truffle hot sauce.

For a snack I went with a few berries and my favorite crunchy sun butter that I mentioned above. Dinner included steamed sea bass with roasted spaghetti squash and sliced sweet potato, finished off with 2 gluten free cupcakes from the recipe I shared last week for dessert.

 

Day 3: tuesday

morning

Tuesday I woke up bright and early with (you guessed it) my turmeric tonic and walked the dogs for about half an hour with my iced matcha latte. Afterwards, I went to an hour class at Core again, and came home to the same blueberry oats. This time, I used gluten free oats and oat bran and mixed them with some blueberries. I always add stevia drops to my oatmeal with some vanilla and cinnamon too!

afternoon

I went to work and around 1 and had a meeting in my office where I ate the same chopped salad recipe as the day before. For a snack a few hours later I had a pecan cinnamon roll protein bar that not only tastes great, but is great for a mid-day boost as well. 

evening

Dinner for today included a California roll with light rice, seaweed salad and a side of steamed pumpkin. I couldn't resist settling with just dinner, so I went for two of those delicious gluten free cupcakes again for dessert!

everyday:

I tend to drink about 100 oz of water every day. I carry around my hydro flask and usually fill it up 3 times a day. I always add in lemon juice and the Nustevia drops I mentioned above. It makes the water taste just like lemonade and it makes drinking water SO easy.
