Wilson's Visit to New York
Visiting New York is one of my favorite things! Living there was honestly not too much for me, but 3 or 4 days is perfect! This time I went to New York I packed my schedule with some really fun stuff that I am highly recommending.
Shopping, of course
Shopping on the upper east side, always! There is just something so special about walking the streets of New York. So many people going so many different ways, I just love it! This trip we went to Gucci and I got some new velvet fur slides! So cute. I absolutely love these slides because they are so comfortable and you can either dress them up with a cute pair of trousers for work, or more casual with your favorite pair of jeans.
Astrology and family constellation sessions at Minka! I had an emotional breakthrough - it was absolutely life changing and I learned all about my Saturn return. Check out your natal chart here and make an appointment at Minka here
Brunch at Cafe Cluny
Cafe Cluny in the west village is my favorite brunch place! It is the cutest little french bistro with the most delicious food. I absolutely love the squash bowl and the avocado toast. If you are feeling a mid day cocktail, go for the filthy martini.
Piercing my ears at Maria Tash! Maria has been a designer and retailer for over 21 years, so she definately knows what she is doing! They have the cutest jewelry and the most unique places for piercings - if you have no idea what you want they can guide you in the right direction.
When you're in the city, it is always fun to get dressed up for dinner or a day of shopping. At the same time, sometimes you just need to be comfy. One of my favorite things is to be snuggled up in my cashmere Monroe sweats and watch USC football.
Once you are in your comfy clothes, you don't to go anywhere. New York has some of the best food in the world! Thankfully, a ton of the amazing restaurants deliver. This trip I ordered in from Divya's Kitchen - amazing Ayurvedic food! Almost everything is vegan and gluten free and the curry is irresistible!
Last, but certainly not least. Morimoto is my absolute favorite sushi in the city. The sashimi is always so fresh and delicious. I recommend getting the chef's sushi or sashimi combinations so that you get the best of the best.
