Wilson's Lake Tahoe Guide
This past weekend was a complete whirlwind! We were supposed to go to Cabo for my boyfriend's 31st birthday and the day before our trip, a hurricane hit! So we had to switch gears and get a whole new trip lined up in less than 24 hours! I'm horrible when things don't go according to plan and I get super stressed, so I've been working on that with a bunch different techniques (but that's for another post!). Anyways, we ended up at the Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe, and it turned out to be a perfect weekend! The sun was shining the whole time and there were so many activities to do there! Here's my quick guide to Tahoe in the summer months
Where to Stay
⁃ Stay at the ritz Carlton! It's the perfect location in summer and winter because it's right on the mountain where all the hiking trails are, and they have a lake house for the summer months!
What to Do
⁃ Go for a hike! There are tons of gorgeous trails right outside the hotel, with gorgeous rivers that flow down to the lake!
- Play on the lake. The Ritz has all you could ever need from wave runners, boat rentals, parasailing, waterskiing, wake surfing, charter fishing, and more! You can't do Tahoe without a full day on the lake.
- Spa! The massage and facial I had at the Ritz spa were some of the best treatments I've ever had
Where to eat
Breakfast- Sprouts is perfect if you are looking for vegan or gluten free options.
Lunch- Garwoods is the hot spot in Tahoe to grab lunch and you can just pull up the boat and grab a couple cocktails while you're at it!
Dinner- Sushi at Yamakai! It's down in the village and you can ride the gondola down for some gorgeous views
