The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

This past weekend my sister and I took a trip to Los Angeles. We got tickets to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, and invited some of our friends to come with us for a day of dress up and drinking champagne. Since both of us went to USC, we still have a ton of friends who live out in LA, so it was great to be able to invite them to a fun event to catch up and watch the match! Neither of us had been to the Veuve event before, so trying to choose what to wear was definitely a challenge. While some people go a bit more casual, but we wanted to bring out our best because we don’t get the opportunity to dress up too often!

For the event, I chose a long wine colored slip dress from Are You Am I. The thin flowy dress was perfect for the warm LA weather, while the warm color and the style of the slip dress still were totally in style for fall. To keep the outfit a bit more daytime, I accessorized with my new Gucci canvas ribbon bag and some simple Jimmy Choo gold strappy heels. It was amazing to be able to walk around and see all of the fun pop up shops and food trucks the event had to offer! The highlights of the afternoon included the amazing little Fendi truck pop up where we bought a couple of keychains, and when we went and tried the new rose champagne. Such an amazing event, I can’t wait to go back next year!
