Parisian Dreams

We were extremely lucky and were able to attend the Hermes show, Dior show, Chanel show, and Valentino show; and as someone who loves fashion - this was a dream come true! Dior hosted their event upstairs in their main store on Avenue Montaigne and it was gorgeous! For me, the Chanel show was absolutely incredible... During the show, the ateliers were actually in the room working on clothing and pinning muslin and different pieces to the mannequins. To finish the week, my mom and I attended the Valentino show, and of course it was amazing, as well. This show was held in a hotel with multiple rooms where the models would walk in and out of each room. So each room had a different timing and different experience.

Outside of the shows my mom and I spent a lot of time on Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg. We were fortunate enough to have lunch on Avenue Montaigne at the Hotel Athénee Paris. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen with its red flowers and canopies. It is a must-see and a go-to lunch spot when traveling in this beautiful city. Just a few more travel tips when going to Paris: I would definitely recommend Pizza Chic–a quaint pizza shop for Paris locals. I would recommend the pizza with ricotta, it was so delicious! I also would recommend to go to L’Avenue for lunch or Hotel Coste for dinner, both are amazing with delicious food and even better atmospheres!

Now to my outfit for each show...

At the Dior show I opted to support the brand and grabbed a great Dior black leather slip dress with lace accents and matched it with a Dior purse that had leather black flowers on it. I paired these two fun pieces with one of my favorite nude heels for summer. I loved this look because it was a “sneak peek” into the styles of Fall! For the Chanel show I went for a younger look and wore a Self-Portrait Dress with Aquazurra heels and my Chanel Number 5 White Perfume Bottle Purse. I was obsessed with this look! I tried to capture the Chanel spirit in a young and new way, which I really loved. Finally, but not least for the Valentino show I wore one of their blue classic dresses with a lace top and adorable collar. I carried a sweet, pink floral clutch and wore pink and nude studded Valentino heels to pull the bag, dress, and heels, all together.

There is truly nothing better than Paris, and this trip was my dream come true!
