Tulum Travels

So I have a new favorite vacation destination, Tulum! For Christmas this year my boyfriend planned a 5 day vacation for both of us to come to Mexico to relax and unwind. As soon as we arrived, I knew Tulum was so special. Driving down the coast to the hotel there were so many charming shops and restaurants. It was so hard for us to choose what to do while we were there. But from a little bit of research and a lot of suggestions from friends we packed our trip full of activities!

Here are some of my favorites:
-Visit the Mayan ruins and definitely check out the Temple of the Wind God, there is so much to learn
-Eat Pasta at Posada Margherita, it doesn’t get better than a table right on the beach, homemade pasta, and a cocktail
-Visit A Cenote– they are sinkholes filled with fresh water that are all connected underground throughout Tulum-Sac Actun, the Cenote we went to, was unbelievable because it was a cave you could swim through!
-Dinner at Hartwood for the best seafood!! Make sure to make reservations before you go!
-Hang around in the beach bar swings for hours in your favorite bikini
-Have a superfood filled breakfast at Raw Love – by far my favorite place to eat in Tulum – the Alkaline Up smoothie and the Cacao Coconut Latte are to die for!!
-Spa all day at Yaan – by far the best spa experience I’ve ever been to
-Lay by the beach and enjoy a light lunch at Azulik – the hotel is one giant treehouse!

If you haven’t been to Tulum, go NOW! It’s already starting to get crowded with tourists so you want to hit this destination before it gets too hot!
